In view of the global COVID epidemic, the Admiralty of the Plastic Cup has decided to introduce precautionary measures. In order to ensure that the cleaning of the Tisza does not pose a health risk, that the event does not endanger the participants of the event and does not pose the slightest risk of infection to the communities along the Tisza river, the Admiralty of the Plastic Cup has introduced special rules. The 8th Plastic CUP on the Tisza river is open to those who meet the following requirements.
EXTRAORDINARY PRECAUTIONS
Foreign participants can join the event only with a negative COVID test from within 7 days of the start of the event.
It is forbidden to approach or land on foreign (Slovak and Ukrainian) shores during the event.
The organizers of the event, without exception, carry out their work in possession of a negative coronavirus test.
Mask is a mandatory protective equipment that participants over 18 must wear at events with many people (registration, mandatory equipment sharing, waste sorting, etc.).
It is mandatory to keep a safe distance of at least 1.5 meters between members of different teams.
Dishwashing is done in separate sinks per team; antiseptic will be placed at registration and food distribution points.
Antiseptic will be placed in lavatories; and above standard cleaning those premises will be regularly disinfected during the event.
A maximum of 9 people per team over the age of 18 can be present at the event venue once. The staff limit does not apply to minors.
The organizers provide continuous and constantly available medical supervision during the event.
Participants should be prepared for random fever measurements.
In case there is potential for health risk, the organizers will suspend the event with immediate effect.
